The guys departed Cody by way of Chief Joseph Highway.

The scenery along the Chief Joseph Highway is beautiful. The road is lined with these huge red rock formations.

On top of the highway, Mike, Stu, Fred and Ron stopped to chat with two traveling Indians. Those new found friends wanted to trade some
wampum for Stu's duster.

Uh-oh! Looks like those Indians weren't as friendly as the guys originally thought. Judging from those arrows sticking out of Stu's luggage, those boys were mighty lucky to get away when they did!

Their route takes them to
Beartooth Pass, All American Road.

Fred, Mike, Stu and Ron still in Wyoming. Now they've traded those bikes in for a silver SUV. A very wise choice with all that gear they have.

A quick jump to the other side of the sign and their now in Montana. The guys have been
zig zagging back and forth between Montana and Wyoming for the past two days. There's one of the bikes in the background. I thought they had taken the easy mode of transportation!

Three of the guys easily maneuver through a hairpin curve.

Shoshone National Forest on the
Beartooth Pass.
Beartooth Lake. Isn't it beautiful?

Stu at the summit of the
Beartooth Pass. Elevation 10,947 feet. Now that's getting up there!

The town of Red Lodge, Montana. Lunch was at the Red Lodge Cafe.

This road goes on forever!

Malta, Montana was the late afternoon stop. This was the overnight
accommodations.
The guys have calculated that it's about 2,100 miles 'til the last corner!
Total miles ridden today - 390.
