Day 11 - San Antonio, Texas to Big Bend National Park

The fellas departed San Antonio, Texas heading westerly bound towards Big Bend National Park. This view is of the Pecos River.
Stu, Mike and Fred at the edge of a large bridge that crosses the Pecos River.
Along their route today they encountered many Immigration Check Points. These Check Points are run by U.S. Border Patrol Officers. The guys reported that when you enter these check points an officer looks you right in the eye as they are asking, "Are you a United States citizen?" If you answer, "yes", you're waved on your way.
A female Border Patrol Officer with her dog. Yes, it's a dog...not a coyote.
Stu, Mike, Ron and Fred reach their destination for the day, Big Bend National Park.
Home sweet home, the Chisos Mountain Lodge located within the Big Bend National Park. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, had decent beds and air conditioning. The total miles traveled by the guys today - 412 miles.
A beautiful sunset visible in the notch of the mountains which is called, The Window.
