Prepared to leave Destin, Florida the guys pose outside David & Lori's condo complex.
Welcome to Alabama! Thinking they would never get out of the state of Florida this sign was a welcome sight. The group logged slightly over 1500 miles, and 3 1/2 days, of riding in the state of Florida.
The guys stopped in Mobile, Alabama to visit Battleship Memorial Park. Taking a little break they spent almost an hour walking around the park viewing the memorials.
The USS Alabama floats regally in the park.

Whew...some more miles and they were in Mississippi. Mike and Ron are gladly holding up this sign! It has been reported they passed numerous semi-trucks hauling the yellow oil absorbing devices towards the gulf coast. Semi's pulling trailers that were loaded with small boats were also en route towards the coastal areas. The boys surmised it was all towards the oil/gas clean up effort.
Louisiana, their final destination for day seven. The boys rode 276 miles today arriving in New Orleans for the night.
New Orleans, Nawlins, The Big Easy, no matter what you call it, says fun! Stu, Mike and Fred preparing to head down Bourbon Street. Ron's right behind 'cause he's taking the photo! Dinner at Brennans where Bananas Foster originated. The food was delicious but the waiter "copped a real 'tude." Service was lousy at best! My guess was they still had a ball!
Fred, I think it great what you guys are doing.
