After fetching the bikes from the two story parking garage via elevator, the boys prepare to depart New Orleans. Here they are in front of the Hotel Monteleone in the French quarter.
Along their route they stopped in Port Fuchon, Louisiana to visit friends, Sue and Harris.
Harris treated the boys to lunch at his restaurant. Harris gave great insight into the effect the oil/gas spill was having on the sport and commercial fishing industry along the gulf coast. He also discussed the impact made on the transport business which he is involved in.

While down in the bayou the fella's witnessed a very sobering sight. This is just a small example of what they viewed. The three ships are supply vessels for oil rigs. Each oil rig has 8 - 10 ships that transport supplies to and from the platform. The ships are docked due to the BP oil rig explosion and the presidential moratorium on deep water drilling.
These are commercial fishing vessels docked, a direct result of the president's moratorium. Harris estimated there are probably 300,000 people unable to work due to the shut down of deep water drilling and it's impact on other area businesses.

The problem is serious, Mike needs to be towed. Freddie's Moving and Hauling handles the job! Finding a nearby Harley Davidson dealership the boys end up in St. Charles, Louisiana. Mike's bike is at the dealership ready for repair in the morning.
