Day Two! Nagshead, NC - Charleston, SC

The gentleman seated in the middle of the group is Phillip. He and his wife Tina, not pictured, are visiting from England. They have a daughter living here in the U.S. Every year they come to visit her then stay on for an extended vacation traveling about before returning home. The 4 Corner men met Phillip in the restaurant of the hotel where they stayed. In his younger days Phillip had a motorbike and was an avid rider. He was very interested in the details of the 4 Corners adventure. It has been reported that Phillip is indeed a very, very nice gentleman. Stu gave him a brand new Harley Davidson ball cap to commemorate their meeting.
Well, this proves at least one of them made it to Nagshead, North Carolina. That's Ron's bike! He said today was fairly uneventful. The guys were up early, had breakfast and were on the road by 8:00 a.m. The highlight of Ron's day was another huge bridge. Hmmm...guess they don't have many of them in Indiana. With only a one hour break for lunch they were back on their iron horses heading south. Weather report; the sun is strong and it's blistering hot.

Further evidence suggests there are bridges. See the sign? I wonder if Mike finished his picture. Hehe...get it? Draw bridge....

7:00 p.m.; having traveled a total of 415 miles for the day they stop for the night in Charleston, South Carolina. The evening agenda, a hot shower, dinner, then bed. It was a good, safe day!
