Day 14 - Deming, New Mexico to Tucson, Arizona

The guys cross the Continental Divide where all water west of the divide heads to the Pacific Ocean.
Mike, Stu, Ron and Fred take a break from the seat at Pancho Villa State Park.
Stu is about to get the point...that prickly cactus isn't going to give much of a seat break!
Ron poses at the Arizona state line. The boys are on their way to Tombstone.
This monument marks the site of Apache Indian Chieftain Geronimo's capture. Geronimo led the last group of renegade Apaches in their fight with the United States. Once Geronimo was captured the fighting ceased. Mike did not practice any war whoops. He did ask, "why didn't they just put up a statue of an Indian?"
They made it! Tombstone, Arizona - "The Town Too Tough To Die"
Stu demonstrates just how this buggy is supposed to be used. Ron and Fred think they're going on a tour of Tombstone compliments of Stu!
Fred takes a quick horseback riding lesson.
The Bird Cage Theatre is the only original building left in the town of Tombstone. The town has burnt completely to the ground on two different occasions. The Bird Cage Theatre was built in 1881.
The famous OK Corral. Life size mannequins depict the players in this bloody gun battle. The Earps; Wyatt, Morgan and Virgil fought the McLaurys and Clantons. A pencil sketch made by Wyatt Earp shows where every man was standing while the gun fight was happening. The guys spent about four hours in the town of Tombstone. When they left Tucson, Arizona was their destination. Today they rode a total of 306 miles.
