The 4 Corners quadruplets left Charleston, South Carolina around 8:00 a.m. on the third day of their trip. Shortly thereafter they stopped at Memorial Park to view the Vietnam Memorial and aircraft carrier the USS Yorktown.
After crossing the state line into Georgia the group took a break at a rest area. Georgia might be on their minds; but, they are on ours.
Does it count if some of the miles logged on this trip are on a ferry boat, not a bike? They wait in line at St. Johns River Ferry to board the water craft.
While in St. Augustine, Florida they visited the Fountain of Youth. They bought the tourist trap line, "just a sip of water from the well will turn back the hands of time." Right now they all think they're back in their mid 20's.
Daytona Beach, Florida!
The guys rode those motorcycle right on the white sand at Daytona Beach!
Dinner at Hooters in Daytona, Florida (they went there just for the wings). Cheers! Here's to 415 miles and day 3 in the record book.
Following dinner the men went a short distance to Sanford, Florida where they stopped for the night. Ron and Stu worked on laundry, Mike forwarded photos for this blog and Fred went to visit his sister that lives in Sanford. I wonder why there aren't any photos of the boys using the washer and dryer...
Father Fred...Anna just asked if you were home yet...may be a long eight weeks! The hottest 4 hours of my life were spent on the Yorktown (Nate was just 4 weeks old). My Uncle Fred gives tours of the ship, I wonder if you saw him. Hope all is well. We miss you...Safe travels!

ReplyDeleteWhew!! Blog has been down for 24 hours, it's been a little nerve wracking. Google has been working on it. It seems to be okay. The maps have been caught up. When the guys settle in and can send the photos I'll get them up here...two days worth! Thanks for being patient.
ReplyDeleteStu, Hope you are lathering on the sunscreen! Be safe, Hope you are having fun, and I don't believe that stuff about you doing the wash one bit!
